Our worship services at Hamburg Presbyterian Church are Sunday mornings at 10 am. They usually are one hour in length. Following the service, we enjoy fellowship with each other in the lounge. Coffee, beverages, and often treats are provided.

What are the people in the congregation like?
There are people of all ages and from all walks of life. Some may be dressed casually. Some are lifelong Christians; others are beginning their journey. They could be long time HPC members, or recently joined, or guests. Many worship in person on Sunday mornings while others prefer our online services on Facebook or YouTube. You will find everyone to be welcoming and friendly!
What is a typical worship service like?
Throughout the service we enjoy music from our Minister of Music, Jesse Bonaventura. You could hear the piano, organ, or harpsichord, the Chancel Choir, the Bell Choir, or a guest soloist. We sing hymns from our hymnal.
Pastor Rachel Brown welcomes us and shares announcements. We read passages in unison, we greet each other, we have a moment of silent confession, and we hear passages from the Old and New Testament. We have a sermon from Pastor Rachel, and the congregation may share their joys and concerns. The service is concluded by reciting the Lord’s Prayer, and the Benediction from the pastor.
On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Communion. All are welcome to share at the Communion table where you will be served bread, wine, or juice.
On a fifth Sunday, we have a service of Healing and Wholeness.
What about bringing children to HPC?
Children of all ages are welcome at HPC! Your babies and toddlers are invited to play in our enclosed upstairs balcony area with their parent/caregiver. Here you will find books, toys, games, puzzle, art supplies, pack and plays, etc. The adults are still able to see and participate in the service.
Young children may grab an orange activity bag inside our sanctuary door. Our Christian Education Team has filled them with Biblical coloring books, puzzles, story books, crayons, etc. for the children to use in the pew during the service.
