Our Story

Our church was originally named Westminster Presbyterian Church, then Lake Street Presbyterian Church in 1888. The newly formed church was built in 1846 at 38 Lake Street at the corner of Linwood in Hamburg. It originally housed the Free Will Baptists. Steady growth soon created the need for larger quarters, so in 1950 the building was sold to Grace Lutheran Church. The congregation planned and built the new church at 177 Main Street, our current location. Construction began in 1952 and was completed by 1953 under the guidance of Reverend Fred Webber. It was then named Hamburg Presbyterian Church.
