Our pastor, the Rev. Rachel Brown has been serving the Hamburg Presbyterian Church since October 14, 2014. Pastor Rachel was awarded a Bachelors of Arts degree in Philosophy and Theology from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California in 1999. She was awarded the Master’s of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California in 2005. Pastor Rachel was ordained on September 10, 2006. She loves her dog, the assistant to the pastor, Indiana Jones Jr., as well as traveling, meeting up for coffee and exploring museums. Her favorite animal is the Red Panda and favorite Book of the Bible is Philippians.

Jesse Bonaventura is a pianist, composer, accompanist, teacher, and producer from Buffalo, NY. He received his Bachelor of Music Performance from SUNY Fredonia in 2018 and his Master of Music Performance from the Bowling Green State University of Ohio in 2021. In addition to his duties as Music Minister at Hamburg Presbyterian Church, Jesse is also a staff accompanist at SUNY Fredonia and runs his own private piano studio with students both in-person and online. An advocate for the performance and appreciation of all musical genres, Jesse loves bringing glory to God each Sunday with the congregation of HPC.
